Every row starts with a chain 1 and ends with a slip stitch to the first stitch of the row.
Base:
1. SC 6 into a magic ring. (6)
2. SC 2 into each stitch. (12)
3-12. SC into each stitch. (12)
13. CH 20 and attach to the opposite side with a SS.
Cap:
1. SC 6 into a magic ring. (Do not pull the ring all the way closed. Leave a hole you can at least fit your hook through.)
2. SC 2 into each stitch. (12)
3. (SC 2 into first stitch, SC 1 into next stitch) 6 times. (18)
4. (SC 2 into the first stitch, SC 1 into the next 2 stitches) 6 times. (24)
5-8. SC into each stitch. (24)
(Switch to Base Color)
9. BLO SC into each stitch around. (24)
10-11. SC into each stitch. (24)
12. SS into each stitch. (24)
Fold the bottom of the cap inward along the BLO edge.
Pull the chain piece from the Base through the hole in the Cap. Add keychain if preferred.
