Tie off/cut yarn.

2 panel pieces.

After making two panels, you will crochet them together. Lay them flat against each other, lining up the matching edges.

Using 1 strand of yarn, stitch panels together using SC through both panels. Start at the bottom corner on the opposite side of the thumb.

  • Insert hook through both panels. Sc27 up the side.
  • (sc1, ch1) 14 times across the top curve, placing the sc’s into the side of each row. Sc1 into the last stitch.
  • Sc7 down the side, then sc2tog between the last stitch of the side and the V of the thumb.
  • Sc6 up the thumb.
  • (ch1, sc1) 3 times across the thumb curve, then ch1.
  • Sc10 down the thumb.
  • (ch1, sc1) 3 times across the thumb decrease edge.
  • Sc10 down the side.
  • Turn glove upside down and sc across ONE panel at a time. Sc into the side of each row (16) and then sc1 into the starting chain, then sc across the other panel (16sc) and ss into the first stitch of the bottom edge.

Cut yarn/tie off. Weave in any ends (or don’t!)

2 completed mitts.
